Getting started

Getting started

Set up Waveline as the work phone system for individual team members and shared teams. This support center follows the same path as a real launch: create your account, prepare billing and compliance, add personal or shared numbers, invite teammates, build call routing, then monitor calls and messages.

Install the apps

Get Waveline running on web, iOS, and Android before your first live call.

Choose or port a number

Buy a new number, start a port, assign numbers to inboxes, and prepare SMS registration.

Build call flows

Route callers with business hours, menus, ring groups, voicemail, forwarding, and text follow-up.

Messaging registration

Review Trust Hub, brand, campaign, opt-out, and deliverability guidance before sending customer SMS.

  1. Sign up and finish company onboarding.
  2. Set up billing so numbers and subscriptions can activate.
  3. Install the apps and grant microphone and notification permissions.
  4. Invite your team and assign roles.
  5. Complete Trust Hub if you will send customer SMS.
  6. Choose or port a number, then assign it to a personal or shared inbox.
  7. Configure inbox members, business hours, and default ring groups for any shared lines that need coverage.
  8. Build and publish a call flow.
  9. Test calling, messaging, voicemail, and analytics.

Video to add

Record a launch checklist video that walks from onboarding to first test call, first test message, and first analytics review.

What to read first

Common launch checks

  • Every active number is assigned to a personal inbox or shared team inbox.
  • Every live shared inbox has members, business hours, fallback routing, and a published call flow.
  • Every team member has tested microphone, notifications, availability, and the mobile app if they use Waveline away from a desk.
  • Messaging registration is approved or understood before broad customer SMS begins.
  • Analytics, call history, and unhandled call filters are reviewed after the first live day.
